Simple Equations: 6x-1=3(x-2)+1, 1.1= (t-76)/40

Please help, I already know the answers I need help working the following out.Thanks

1.) 6x-1=3(x-2)+1

2.) 1.1= (t-76)/40

[tex]1.1= \frac{t-76}{40}[/tex]

[tex]1 . 40= \frac{t-76}{40} . 40[/tex] multiply the both sides of the equation by 40

40= t - 76 /add 76 to the both sides
40 + 76 = t - 76 + 76
116 = t

1) 6x-1=3(x-2)+1
6x-1=3x-6+1
6x-3x=-5+1
3x=-4
x=-4/3
2) 1.1= (t-76)/40
44=t-76
t=44+76
t=120

2)t = 120
