Rewrite the fraction by multiplying both sides by (x-3):
(x+4)([tex]10^{x }[/tex]=2x(x-3)[tex]10^{x }[/tex]
Divide both sides by [tex]10^{x }[/tex]
x+4=2x(x-3)
2x²-6x=x+4
2x²-7x-4=0
Factor the polynomial:
(2x+1)(x-4)=0
x=[tex]\frac{-1}{2}[/tex] or x=4
(x+4)([tex]10^{x }[/tex]=2x(x-3)[tex]10^{x }[/tex]
Divide both sides by [tex]10^{x }[/tex]
x+4=2x(x-3)
2x²-6x=x+4
2x²-7x-4=0
Factor the polynomial:
(2x+1)(x-4)=0
x=[tex]\frac{-1}{2}[/tex] or x=4
