An additional method: rewrite all the numbers as increments of 10
4567+456+56
=4000+500+60+7+400+50+6+50+6
=4000+500+400+100+7+6+6+60
=5000+19+60
=5079
4567+456+56
=4000+500+60+7+400+50+6+50+6
=4000+500+400+100+7+6+6+60
=5000+19+60
=5079
