Rational number is the set of integers and fractions. Rational numbers are the numbers which are written in the form of [tex]\frac{p}{q}[/tex] where p, q are integers and q not equal to zero. Rational numbers can either be represented in fractions or in decimals. Rational number contains the set of integers and can be represented as Q.

1:Rational numbers are subset of real numbers.
2:Rational numbers explains the value between two integers.
3:Any integer can be represented as rational number.

Any ordinary number of arithmetic, Any entire number, fraction, mixed number, or decimal; together with its negative picture. A rational number is a nameable number, as in we can name it in the standard way we name whole numbers, fraction, and blended numbers. "Five." "Six thousand eight hundred nine." "Nine hundred twelve millionths." "Three and five-eighths.

Rational numbers can be expressed as a fraction....denominator not equal to zero

If the number is not rational then it is irrational.....

So if it cannot be expressed as a fraction then it is irrational

32.111111111111 repeating is rational

Let x equal the number 32.111111111111111repeating

10x = 321.111111111111111repeating
subtract these
So 9x = 289.0
So x = 289 /9

So 32.11111111repeating is same as the fraction 289/9 so it is rational

Rational Numbers are those which can be made by dividing one integer by another. Integers are not fractions.
For example - 1/2 is a rational number
0.75 is a rational number (3/4)
