Fibunaci's 144

The Fibunaci sequence of numbers goes like; 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,.....
The ony numbers that are not followed by decimals after square root are 1 and 144. In all this sequence.
In the same line of numbers the 144 hold the 12th place while its square rot is 12, so I as my dear friends, is this a coincidence? Or is it not?.
