milk equals 1/3 + 1/4 of the orig glasses = 7/12 glasses

Water equals 2/3 + 3/4 of glasses = 17/12 glasses

Ratio of water to milk in mixture is 17:7

There is two glass of milk 1st one is filled 1/3 and 2nd one is filled 1/4 so the total milk is
=>1/3 + 1/4 = 7/12.
As the water is added to the glasses 2/3 for the 1st glass and 3/4 for the 2nd glass.
=>2/3 + 3/4 = 17/12 total water in the glass.
=>so we get the ratio of water and milk in the glass is 17:7
=> water : milk
= 17:7
