This can be used to calculate percentage off of a given number, for example percentage off of 20% off 50 on shopping. This is calculated by multiplying 50 by 20 and dividing by 100 to get the percentage off or percentage discount. You can calculate it easily here https://www.percentage-off-calculator.com

Percentage can be calculated by dividing the value by the total value, and then multiplying the result by 100. The formula used to calculate percentage is: (value/total value)×100%. You can get the result from this calculator online for sure!

Write down the formula: Use the formula that relates the variables you are given and the variable you need to find. Some common formulas include:

Percent = (Part / Whole) x 100
Part = Percent x Whole / 100
Whole = Part / Percent x 100

Greetings My Mathematical Wizard Friends!

At one time, "They" (whoever "They" may be) considered me a Mathematical Wizard. But, Time (83 years) and a lot of Alcohol have taken its toll. So, please forgive me for asking what I'm sure you guys find to be an easily solved problem!! I was watching a program where they caught a very rare Blue Lobster off the coast of New England. According to "Them", a blue lobster is believed to occur only once in every 2,000,000. So, my question is, what would that be in percentage? What percentage of lobsters are blue? Easy for you. Not for me.

Footnote: In all my mathematical wizardry, Percentage was always my most challenging. Don't know why, it just was.

Regards,

Old Wizard (aka Mike)
