A satellite is 1.065X10^10km from Earth. The satellite sends data in radio waves, which travel at the speed of light. How many light hours would it take for the data from the satellite to reach Earth?

speed of light = [tex]299792458[/tex] m/s

so time taken = [tex]\frac{1.065\times10^{10}\times10^3}{299792458}=35534.58[/tex]s

to convert to hours, divide by [tex]3600[/tex] to get [tex]9.87 \approx \boxed{10h}[/tex]
