(Why) Is it not possible to draw figure 6 with a single continuing line, whilst this is possible for the other figures 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7?

I only see a way to make it with 2 lines. I dont know if it is possible with a single line?

You can make figure 6 with two lines by doubling figure 3 and rotating it 180 degrees.

Can annyone prove why it is (not) possible to do make the 6th figure with a single line?

Since my childhood, I like to solve such tasks. I remember how one day my father gave me a book in which a lot of drawing assignments were collected. Later, when I was in college and was doing more serious math tasks and problems in which I was helped by the Edubirdie service, I once found this book and felt a sense of nostalgia. Without lifting the pencil from the paper, draw a figure, it was very interesting and informative for me.

Thank God I have no problems with mathematics. But with other items it is full! I recently used edu birdy because I can't write essays myself. Even following the example, it's hard for me. I am a mathematician and I only like numbers.
