Recipe Word Problem

Hi! I'm trying to figure out grams of sugar in one tablespoon in a bottle of cranberry juice (unsweetened). Here's what I have so far. There are 11 grams of sugar in 8 ounces. There are 16 tablespoons in 8 fluid ounces. So, how many grams of sugar in a tablespoon. I know that there is probably a very, VERY easy answer to this, but I'm stumped. Math is not one of my strengths. My attempt at an answer was 16/11 which equals 1.45. I don't think I would put any money on this answer though

There are 16 tablespoons in 8 ounces so 8 ounces/16 tablespoons= 1/2 ounce per tablespoon.

There are 11 grams of sugar in 8 ounces of cranberry juice so 11 grams/8 ounces so 11/8 grams per ounce.

So there are (11/8 grams/ounce)(1/2 ounce/tablespoon). The "ounces" cancel leaving 11/16 grams per tablespoon. You have the fraction upside down.
