How to Calculate % of x = ?

Hi,

Hope someone will help me.

This was a problem given by my tuition teacher.

A milkman mixes x ml of water in 25 liters of milk. The percentage of the added water in milk is 60 %. Find the added amount of water. I found the amount of water added to be 15 ml. (60/100 ) * x = 25 . Hence x = 15. Also verified the answer with https://www.easycalculation.com/percent ... ulator.php. But teacher says my answer is wrong. How ?

x ml of water added
25000 ml of milk.
when mixed the Total is (x + 25000) ml of mixture

(x ml water) / (x + 25000 ml mixture) multiplied by 100 = 60%

According to my calculations this works out that x = 37500 ml

So 37.5 liters of water was added.
