Here is how I solved it:

3/2 + 7 - 9[6(8^3)]7/4 =

3/2 + 14/2 - 9[6(512)]7/4 =

3/2 +14/2 - 9(3072)7/4 =

17/2 -27648(7/4) =

17/2 - 193536/4 =

34/4 - 193536/4 =

-193502/4 =

-48375.5
