Six fens of math presented the number 2004, everyone in different way, as a product of two natural numbers and everyone of them found the biggest common divisor of these two numbers. Which is the biggest common divisor among the results of the mathematicians?

6 ways to factor with the HCFs:
1) 1 x 2004, HCF: 1
2) 2 x 1002, HCF: 2
3) 3 x 668, HCF: 1
4) 4 x 501, HCF: 1
5) 6 x 334, HCF: 2
6) 12 x 167, HCF: 1

So the answer is 2.
