Hi,

I need to calculate the wavelength of the sound wave using the following information but I don't know whether I should convert the frequency to Hz first or just divide the velocity with the already given frequency.
wave velocity 331 m/s
frequency 1000 MHz

What should I do?
pls help a noob

If a wave with frequency [tex]\omega[/tex] Hertz, or [tex]\omega[/tex] cycles per second, is traveling at v meters per second, then in one second, it will have covered v meters and had [tex]\omega[/tex] cycles. That is v meters per [tex]\omega[/tex] cycles or [tex]\frac{v}{\omega}[/tex] meters per cycle
