Can a mathematical wave theory of energy better explain Nature than the current quantum (physics) theory of energy?

Can we model all elementary particles of the Standard Model as mathematical waves (wavelet, standing, superposition of complex waves, or whatever)?

Can a mathematical wave theory of energy better explain 'wave-particle duality'?

Can a mathematical wave theory of energy model/better explain mass, force, spin, charge, and other important quantitative/qualitative attributes of energy?
