“Hmm. All energy-mass interactions are more (useful work) or less (entropy) about nature’s attempt to form robust structures over time and over space.”

What are some implications of a world with positive or negative infinite energy?

"First of all, we're surrounded by inexhaustible clean-energy sources—the sun, the wind, the ocean, plants, atoms, the earth's core—but the technology and economic rationale for tapping them have lagged behind our imaginations. Go figure!" :(

Energy is a fundamental concept in physics that refers to the ability of a system to do work. It is a property of matter and radiation and can be stored or transferred from one object or system to another.

In simpler terms, energy is the capacity of a physical system to perform work. Work is the product of force and displacement, so energy can be thought of as the ability to apply a force over a distance. Energy exists in various forms, including kinetic energy, potential energy, thermal energy, electromagnetic energy, and chemical energy.

Energy is a crucial aspect of many scientific and engineering disciplines, including thermodynamics, mechanics, and electricity and magnetism. It is also a critical aspect of our everyday lives, powering our homes, transportation, and industries. The conservation and efficient use of energy are essential for sustainable development and mitigating climate change.
