An analytic problem with a triangle

Postby kate » Fri Jul 04, 2008 2:22 pm

For the triangle ▲ABC we have: the point C(1;2), the intersecting point of the medians G(1;0), and the equations of the height h:2x - y + 2 = 0 and of the median m:x - 2y - 1 = 0, which height and median are through different points. Find:
a) the equations of the sides of the triangle
b) the area of the triangle.
