Actually I think there is an ambiguity.

Some texts say that the x-intercept is the point where the graph crosses the x-axis and the y-intercept is the point where the graph crossses the y-axis. Otheres say that the x-intercept is the x-coordinate of the point where the graph crosses the x-axis (since the y-coordinate must be 0) and the y-intercept is the y-coordinate of the point where the graph crosses the y-axis (since the x-coordinate must be 0).

Since it has been here a while:
This graph crosses the y- axis at (0, 5) so the y-intercept is either (0, 5) or y= 5 depending on which definition you are using.

This graph crosses the x- axis at (5, 0) so the y-intercept is either (5, 0) or x= 5 depending on which definition you are using.

Of course, this problem itself asks for the answer as an x,y pair so the x-intercept is (5, 0) and the y-intercept is (0, 5).
