Exponential and log regression

Exponential and log regression

Postby Guest » Wed Mar 03, 2021 7:55 am

Hi everybody! I'm not a mathematician and I'm searching for a very simple method to build up a "score" following an exponential or a logarithmic regression (I'll try with both to see which fit better). What I have to do is to assign a score between 0 and 1 to a value within a specific range (that can chance, let's say a and b). Giving that I have to put the expressions in a specific software (Spotfire). Can someone tell me best way to generate such expressions? Is there a way to also easily change the slope of curves? Thanks in advance!

Would you like sharing some 'examples' of your idea?

I have an idea... but i don't know if will be the right one :)
