Help with functions

Postby Guest » Tue Mar 05, 2024 1:04 pm

There are two situations I want to express as a function and make a graph.
The assignment is about viruses that spread.
Country A) Here, the number of infected increases with the number of days in the epidemic multiplied by itself.
Country B) Here we see that the number of infected people doubles every day.

If someone can help, thank you :)

To express the situations as functions and create graphs:

For Country A: Let IA(t) represent the number of infected people in Country A at time t (in days). The function can be defined as IA(t)=t^2, where t is the number of days since the start of the epidemic.

For Country B: Let IB(t) represent the number of infected people in Country B at time t (in days). The function can be defined as IB(t)=2t, where t is the number of days since the start of the epidemic.

Now, you can create graphs by plotting these functions with time (days) on the x-axis and the number of infected people on the y-axis.

In working through this mathematical problem, it's clear that precision and accuracy are key. For those seeking assistance or guidance with such calculations, I will suggest you to try mathsassignmenthelp.com that can be incredibly valuable. Also, you can contact them at +1 (315) 557-6473.
