17 1/2 = 35/2

2/5 x 35/2 x 5/8 = 35/8

So to do this problem ,
First convert mixed fraction into improper fraction
i.e.17 ½=35/2
now do multiplication of fractions.
2/5*35/2*5/8
=35/8
(or)
4 3/8

2/5 X17 ½ X 5/8
Simplifying 17 1/2=35/2
=>2/5 X 35/2 X 5/8
=> 35/8
=> 4 3/8
Ans. 4 3/8
