I need understandable ans of below problem pls

In a bag full of small balls, 1/4 of these balls are green, 1/8 are blue, 1/12 are yellow and the remaining 26 white. How many balls are blue ?

Let all balls are x, then [tex]x-(\frac{x}{4}+\frac{x}{8}+\frac{x}{12})=26 \Leftrightarrow x-\frac{11x}{24}=26\Leftrightarrow[/tex]
[tex]\frac{13x}{24} = 26 |:13\Leftrightarrow x=2.24\Leftrightarrow x=48[/tex] . And blue balls are [tex]\frac{48}{8}=6[/tex].

x-[tex]\frac{11x}{24}[/tex]=

=[tex]\frac{x}{1}[/tex]-[tex]\frac{11x}{24}[/tex]=

=[tex]\frac{24x}{24}[/tex]-[tex]\frac{11x}{24}[/tex]=

=[tex]\frac{24x-11x}{24}[/tex]=

=[tex]\frac{13x}{24}[/tex]
