### Fraction problem

I need understandable ans of below problem pls

In a bag full of small balls, 1/4 of these balls are green, 1/8 are blue, 1/12 are yellow and the remaining 26 white. How many balls are blue ?

Let all balls are x, then $$x-(\frac{x}{4}+\frac{x}{8}+\frac{x}{12})=26 \Leftrightarrow x-\frac{11x}{24}=26\Leftrightarrow$$
$$\frac{13x}{24} = 26 |:13\Leftrightarrow x=2.24\Leftrightarrow x=48$$ . And blue balls are $$\frac{48}{8}=6$$.

x-$$\frac{11x}{24}$$=

=$$\frac{x}{1}$$-$$\frac{11x}{24}$$=

=$$\frac{24x}{24}$$-$$\frac{11x}{24}$$=

=$$\frac{24x-11x}{24}$$=

=$$\frac{13x}{24}$$

Equivalently, $$x- \frac{11}{24}x= \left(1- \frac{11}{24}\right)x= \left(\frac{24}{24}- \frac{11}{24}\right)x= \left(\frac{24- 11}{24}\right)x= \frac{13}{24}x$$.

The "13" is 24- 11.
