Subtracting fractions

You have a pizza to share with your friends, you eat 1/2 a pizza and you want to know how much is left.

Hello :)
So you know a pizza is cut into 8 pieces,
you have eaten 1/2 the pizza,
so you would do 8/2 which is 4,
hope you get it!
Bye

Hello,

I am new to this forum. Earlier I used to hate math and never got good grades in it. But gradually as I grew up and understood the tools and techniques, I started loving this subject and today this is one of my favorites.
Yes I definitely got what you saying.
