You can find amount of milk by using 2/3 of 20 and multiplying the fraction to whole number as;

2/3 x 20 = 2/3 x 20/1 = 2x20/3x1 = 40/3 liters of milk or 13.33 liters of milk is in the 20 liter tank.

Hence amount of water = 20 - 13.33 = 6.67 l (approx.)

The amount of water is 6.67 because 2/3 of of 20 liters means 2/3*20=13.33 liters
then 20-13.33=6.67 liters

Water ratio in the mixture is = 1-(2/3) = 1/3

Amount of water = 1/3*20 = 6.667

Yes, the amount of water is 20-13.33=6.67 liters. We can say that the amount of water is 1/3.
Like 6.67 * 3 = 20.01

In 20 litres 2/3 part is =20*2/3
=40/3 litres
Therefore milk =40/3 litres
Water =20-(40/3)
=(60-40)/3
=20/3
=6.66 litres (approx)

20 Litre of diluted milk and 2/3 is pure milk
so, 20*2/3
=40/3
Total amount =20 litre
so, 20-(40/3)
by solving it, we will get (60-40)/3
=20/3
6.66 litre

20 litres of diluted milk, 2/3 of the volume is pure milk so 1/3 of the volume is pure water
1/3 of 20 litres is 6.67 litres of pure water

Personally, I would have left the answer as "[tex]\frac{20}{3}[/tex] litres" rather than the approximate answer "6.67 litres".
