Geometry, cylinder, did I do this right?

10) The surface area of a cylinder with height, h, and base radius, r, is given by
A = 2πrh + 2πr2 . Using 3.14 for π, find the surface area of a cylinder with radius of
4 cm and a height of 20 cm.

A = 2 pi r h + 2 pi r^2 = 2 * pi * 4 * 20 + 2 * pi * 4^2 = 603.18579

You did it correctly, except you used a more accurate version of [tex]\pi[/tex].
You used [tex]\pi=3.14159265...[/tex] whereas the question says to use the much less accurate version of [tex]\pi\approx 3.14[/tex]
which gives you a (less accurate) answer of [tex]602.88[/tex].

Hope this helped,
