How Large Are the Angles?

Postby nycmath » Mon Oct 12, 2026 4:13 pm

The second angle of a triangle equals the first angle. The third angle is 12 degrees larger than the first angle. How large are the angles?

Setup:

First angle = x

Second angle = First angle = x

Third angle = x + 12

Angle 1 + Angle 2 + Angle 3 = 180°

x + x + x + 12 = 180°

Is this the correct equation?
