Are you saying that you do not know what "circle" and "sphere" are?

A circle is a two dimensional figure lying in some plane. It is the set of all points a given distance (the "radius" of the circle) from a given point (the center of the circle) in that plane.

A sphere is a three dimensional figure. It is the set of all points a given distance (the "radius" of the sphere) from a given point (the "center" of the sphere) but those points are NOT all in one plane.

The intersection of a sphere and a plane (that passes through the sphere) is a circle.

This was apparently in response to something, but WHAT?
