Equation of center of circle

Please help me find the equation of the circle with center at point c(3,-1) and radius R=5 and draw the circle

Do you have a pair of compasses? If so set the point at (3, -1), open the compasses out to (3, -1+ 5)= (3, 4) and use them to draw the circle.

If not then I would suggest marking points (3+ 5, -1)= (8, -1), (3, -1+ 5)= (3, 4), (3- 5, -1)= (-2, -1), and (3, -1- 5)= (3, -6) and then free-hand drawing the circle that passes through those four points.

The equation of the circle with center at (3, -1) and radius 5, is [tex](x- 3)^2+ (y+ 1)^2= 25[/tex]
