Circle of squares

Circle of squares

Postby skullkiller » Thu Jan 03, 2008 7:17 am

Can anyone help me?

I'm trying to draw a "circle or squares", wich means, I'm trying to distribute a dynamic number of squares around a circle. The squares must be always the same size and horizontal and there must be a sector for each square (the sector can be of diferent sizes).

I need to know the center or the top left point of the square.

The diameter of circle and the diagonal of the square should be same for what you are looking for. I'm not sure that I'm correct because I was little confused about your question.

By the way Math Tutor your game "Logical game: Magic Squares" has a bug. It is only solvable 50% of the time.
It basically becomes a variant of the "14-15 puzzle"

Hope this helped,

Don't forget to mention its dimensions correctly according to your need. Maths is all about logics rather be it algebra or geometry.
