My math prof. has assigned us the task of relating the math topics we studied in class with real world application in fire inspection. I'm so confused about all of it.
1. Model safety and inspection analyses using vectors and vector algebra.
2. Solve problems modeled by exponential and logarithmic equations both graphically and algebraically and apply to inspection and safety studies.
3. Calculate and interpret the effects of varying parameters on graphs of polynomial functions as a basis for understanding inspection and safety research methods.
4. Use exponential, logarithmic and/or polynomial functions as models to solve inspection and safety problems.
5. Vary parameters for sinusoidal functions and describe the effects on their graphs and the related impacts to inspection and safety theory.
6. Solve problems using trigonometric ratios and functions as they apply to inspection and safety analysis.
7. Solve inspection and safety problems using circle properties and analyzing units of measure.
