Help me to solve a calculation

Postby Guest » Sun Mar 10, 2019 7:48 pm

Hello,

I need help to solve this calculation.

2 people have a company together. The total revenue is 6250, which should be divided between them. So we need to figure out how much profit both parties have after each of their costs is deducted.

However, they both have different costs.

Male 1 has 3387 in costs

Male 2 has 613 in costs .

How much should each of them have?

My answer is: 351 to male 2 and 5899 to male 1.

It should be said that 1200 of male 1 costs (3387) are some money that male 2 owed him in advance, which has nothing to do with the company. So male 1 costs is 2187, if you look at it isolated to the company. The 1200 is a separate debt, but still have to be included in the calculation.
