Determine whether the given function is linear or nonlinear. If it is linear, determining the slope.

The function is linear as it has a constant slope.

Use 2 points to find the slope: [tex]\frac{12-(-4)}{2-(-2)}[/tex]=[tex]\frac{16}{4}[/tex]=4

f(x)=4x+4
