nth term or arithemetic/geometric sequences

nth term or arithemetic/geometric sequences

Postby Guest » Tue Mar 31, 2020 7:06 pm

Hi,

I need help figuring out the formula for this situation.

Basically I have 100,000 gems and I have 50 levels to spread these 100,000 gems across. It starts at level 1 and increases to level 50 but the price of the tokens needs to increase per level. So each level needs to cost more than the level below it but equal 100,000 gems total.

What would the formula be for this?

Thank you so much.

You title this "arithmetic and geometric sequences" but there is no mention of arithmetic and geometric sequences in the question! You talk about "gems" but then refer to the price of "tokens".

Frankly, I have no idea what you are trying to do!
