Hello everyone,,

There are so many applications of vectors, that I could list my favorites and someone else may say that I have missed all of the good ones.

They are used to represent forces in physics, to keep track of multiple pieces of information in machine learning, to keep track of positions of objects in video games, to name a couple.

In mathematics in particular, vector spaces with extra properties like the ability to measure distances and “no holes” (completeness), called Banach spaces, are a major topic of study.
