Tough Questions, someone please help

Postby Avian » Tue Sep 16, 2008 3:51 am

Hello, I got a tough question here which I have been pondering for days.

Image

Line L1 and L2 are Parallel,

T1 is a right-angled triangle with sides DIST, X and Y

Angle B + Angle C = 90°

For some reasons, Angle C, DIST, X and Y are given....

Can anyone show me the method in finding Angle A or Angle D???

You may use any method be it trigonometry or just anything that can solve this problem... thanks...

So we know [tex]\angle C[/tex], [tex]X[/tex], [tex]Y[/tex] and [tex]DIST[/tex] and we have to find [tex]\angle A[/tex] or [tex]\angle D[/tex]. So [tex]\Delta T1[/tex] is defined. But from the given it lines [tex]L1[/tex] and [tex]L2[/tex] are not defined so none of the angles [tex]\angle A[/tex] and [tex]\angle D[/tex] could be defined.
