An exterior angle is the sum of the two interior angles it is not supplementary to.
The interior angles in question are 35 and 75.
The triangle containing x is isosceles, therefore,the exterior angle is 180-2x

180-2x=35+75=110
2x=70
x=35

Solution:

180 - 2x = 35 + 75 = 110

2x=70

x = 35
