Determine Reference point for Pentagram

Hi,

I'm encountering a system that uses all sorts of five sided stars. I need to establish a way of picking one of the points as a reference point so I can label all the others. I assume I have to use a constant.

Just looking for brainstorming:

What method would you use to determine outer point "A" on a five sided star?
