If Sin X+Sin Y=2 , then what is the value of Cos X+Cos Y ? Where both X,Y are angles of first quadrant.

That's pretty close to trivial! You know that the sine of any angle is never larger than 1 don't you? If sin(x)+ sin(y)= 2 what are sin(x) and sin(y)? So what are x and y?

90° + k × 360°?
