Trigonometry equalities, inequalities and expressions - sin, cos, tan, cot
by KarimTef » Tue Jul 26, 2016 6:40 am
I use extensively Windows calculator, and right now I'm studying trigonometry.
So I wanted to calculate [tex]\cot 270°[/tex] in Win calc, but so far I don't know how. I would appreciate I you show me.
(Note: I could use [tex]\cos270°\csc 270°[/tex].)
Thank you.

cot (360-90) = (cot(360)cot(90) + 1)/(cot(90) - cot(360)) and cot(x) = cos(x)/sin(x)

First of all, thank you for your answer.
My question was: what was the keys in win calc that when pushed give the answer to the question. Apparently, it's just calculating cos 270, put it in the memory, and then calculate sin 270, and then perform the division cos 270/ sin 270.
FWIW, I wasn't and I'm not doing any ads for anyone, but I was really stuck.
