A wheel, 45 ft. in diameter, revolves 10 times per minute, has a similar wheel on the other end of it's shaft, that runs a 6 ft. diameter wheel, on it's shaft is a 30 ft. diameter wheel, which runs an 8 ft. diameter wheel, with a shaft which runs a 15 ft. diameter wheel, that runs a 5 ft. diameter wheel, which has a shaft running a 12 ft. diameter wheel, that runs into a 3 ft. diameter wheel. Determine number of revolutions the 3 ft. wheel makes per min.

No image available.

A remark with associated problems: "The velocities of wheels are to each other as their like dimensions."

I am thinking they could be ratios?
