The area of the garden is 1 acre and as you say an acre is 4840 square yards
You say the length is 80 yards so the width of the garden is 60 yards .......60 x 80 = 4800 ....near enough an acre OR 60.5 x 80 to be exact.

The path width is 7 yards so overall length is 80 + 14 = 94 and overall width is 60 + 14 = 74

Multiply these together to get overall area then subtract the inner area to leave the area of the path

60.5 * 80 = 4840 sq. yds. (acre)

94 * 74.5 = 7003 sq. yds. (total area of garden and walk)

7003 - 4840 = 2163 sq. yds. (area of walk)

Where am I correct ?
