3-[tex]\frac{x}{8}[/tex]=[tex]\frac{5x}{2}[/tex]-[tex]\frac{2}{3}[/tex](x-4)+5
Multiply both sides by 24
24(3-[tex]\frac{x}{8}[/tex])=24([tex]\frac{5x}{2}[/tex]-[tex]\frac{2}{3}[/tex](x-4)+5)
72-3x=60x-16(x-4)+120
72-3x=44x+184
47x=-112
x=[tex]\frac{-112}{47}[/tex]
