Its a bit like having 2 runners on a circular race track. "A" does a lap in 8 minutes and "B" does a lap in 7 minutes. If they both start together, then, at what time later and after how many laps by each will they both be at the start again together.
After 56 minutes "A" will have done 7 laps and "B" will have done 8 laps so both will be back together again at the start.
